Elisa Specchia, who graduated in Earth System Physics from Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, completed her thesis titled “On the feasibility of seasonal forecasts of air quality in Europe.” During her academic path, she focused on atmospheric sciences, particularly air quality modeling. She gained experience in analyzing meteorological and air quality data and applying simplified pollutant dispersion models.
She has been working at ARIANET since December 2021 as an Assistant Project Manager, focusing on the use of dispersion models, specifically the Lagrangian particle model SPRAY and Aria Impact.
Skills: Air quality modeling, programming languages Python and R, Linux, GIS.
