These conditions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Meteorological Gradients:<\/strong> Such as temperature inversions with altitude and wind shear.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calm Wind Situations:<\/strong> Scenarios with very low wind speeds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Non-Stationary Conditions:<\/strong> Including those induced by land-use heterogeneity, such as sea-land breezes, mountain-valley breezes, and the presence of metropolitan areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The three-dimensional fields of wind and temperature, as well as micrometeorological parameters used by the code, can be produced by the diagnostic code <strong>SWIFT<\/strong> and the code <strong>SURFPRO<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>The model includes specific algorithms for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Thermal Rise of Hot Plumes:<\/strong> Calculating the thermal rise of hot plumes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dry\/Wet Deposition and Gravitational Settling:<\/strong> Calculating dry and wet deposition and gravitational settling.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Building Downwash:<\/strong> Calculating the building downwash effects due to the presence of structures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Peak-to-Mean Ratio:<\/strong> Determining the peak-to-mean ratio of concentrations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 3D Lagrangian Particle Code SPRAY boasts a long history of applications and validations across various sites and conditions, which has progressively enhanced the system&#8217;s reliability.
