\u201cThe 11th ARIA(NET) Modelling Day\u201d<\/strong> has just concluded and was filled with insights and novelties.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the interest and enthusiasm from clients and project partners have grown. This year, approximately 120 people (both in person and remotely) attended the various presentations. The diversity of participants offered a comprehensive view of how modelling is applied to various topics with different approaches.<\/p>\n

The topics presented highlighted, among other things, the focus on developing machine learning<\/strong> approaches, the increasing interest in assimilating satellite data, and the need to better understand atmospheric particulate composition<\/strong>, the impact of fires, and the behavior of nanoparticulates<\/strong> at airport sites. The presentations by PhD students, who are conducting part of their thesis with us, were particularly interesting. They addressed significant issues such as the resuspension<\/strong> of microplastics<\/strong> and possible methods for filling in missing values in satellite data.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As always, the added value of these events comes from the meeting and exchange of experiences, even those that are very different from one another. We thank everyone for their participation, the interest shown, and the willingness to share. See you next year!<\/p>\n
