How does urban greenery affect temperature and air quality, and consequently, the well-being of citizens? What species are best suited for planting in urban areas? How much and where should vegetation be placed in cities? These are some of the questions addressed by the VEG-GAP project, and the answers can be found in this publication, which compiles the work of the Life VEG-GAP “Vegetation for Urban Green Air Quality Plans” project, funded by the Life Programme for Environment and Climate Action.
