The recent study AER LOCUS, published in the journal Urban Climate, conducted by the Institute of Atmospheric and Climate Sciences of the National Research Council (CNR-ISAC) in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome, ENEA, the Institute of Atmospheric Pollution (CNR-IIA), ARPA Lazio and Val d’Aosta, Serco, and ARIANET, which analyzes the impact of the lockdown period (February 24 – May 4, 2020) on atmospheric composition in five Italian urban sites, has been covered by national media including Il Fatto Quotidiano and the online version of Le Scienze.
ARIANET’s work focused primarily on meteorological aspects and the analysis of air quality data.
