Air quality is today one of the main environmental and public health challenges.

The evolution of the European regulatory framework, innovations in monitoring technologies, and growing attention to the impacts of air pollution make it essential to promote dialogue and the sharing of knowledge among researchers, institutions, companies, and professionals in the sector.

For this reason, SUEZ ARIANET, in collaboration with XEarPro and the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research, is pleased to invite you to the workshop

“Air Quality in Italy: Challenges and Perspectives”

which will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, at the Mario Negri Institute in Milan.

The event will feature specialists who will share their expertise on key topics such as:
📍 the relationship between air pollution and health,
📍 new challenges introduced by the Air Quality Directive,
📍 ongoing sectoral policies (ports, industries, cities).

It will be an opportunity to offer an updated overview of the main challenges our country will face in the coming years, fostering dialogue between the research community, institutions, and industry operators.

The workshop represents an important occasion for professional development, training, and networking, encouraging direct exchange between experts and participants.

For those unable to attend in Milan, the entire event will be available via live streaming by selecting the online participation option during registration.
All access information will be sent later to registered participants.
