From April 18 to 21, 2021, the 7th International Conference on Environmental Odour Monitoring & Control (NOSE2020) was held, organized by AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering) and the Politecnico di Milano. Originally scheduled to take place in Taormina in 2020, the conference was held virtually and featured ARIANET’s participation with a presentation on recent developments within the Lagrangian Particle Dispersion Model SPRAY for estimating the “peak-to-mean” factor. During the conference, the coordinated activity of the expert group drafting international guidelines for the use of dispersion models in odour assessment was also presented, with ARIANET actively participating.
Below are the presentations by Dr. Gianni Tinarelli (also available in audio) and Dr. Jennifer Barclay:
- Tinarelli: Recent Developments Inside a Lagrangian Particle Dispersion Model for the Estimation of Concentration Peaks
- NOSE 2020 AIDIC: New International Handbook on the Assessment of Odour
