
Paola Radice graduated in Environmental Sciences from the University of Milan-Bicocca, where she also obtained a first-level master’s degree in “Recovery and Management of Environmental Resources (Regulatory, Economic, and Technological).” Her educational background provides her with a valuable perspective in relating the different aspects of an environmental system.
Her professional work at ARIANET primarily involves the processing and development of emission inventories at national, regional, and local scales. She specializes in the analysis of emission scenarios, aiming to provide decision-making tools for local authorities in managing and protecting air quality and conducting integrated impact assessments.
She is specialized in the knowledge of emission factors used for estimating emissions from various activities (industrial, maritime, residential combustion), has gained experience in estimating airport emissions for impact studies, and has developed the HECTOR tool for estimating port-related maritime emissions based on guidelines from the Emission Inventory Guidebook published by the European Environment Agency.
Currently, she is focusing on the topics related to health impact assessment for industrial plants.
