On May 27th, a workshop on the methodologies used in the MEETOUT project – Mitigation of the Effects of Environmental Triggers on the OUTcomes of Chronic Respiratory Diseases – will be held in Verona. This three-year project, coordinated by the University of Verona, started in January 2022.

The workshop will provide an overview to a primarily student audience on the opportunities offered by the availability of Big Data and the methodological challenges typically encountered in environmental epidemiological research.

The workshop will focus on exposure and prediction models applied across various fields – meteorology, engineering, and epidemiology. ARIANET, represented by Camillo Silibello, will be present to discuss simulations of biogenic emissions produced by vegetation.

The program and participation details can be found here (Meetout Workshop).
