EUROCONTROL is an intergovernmental, civil, and military organization involving 41 European states, with the primary goal of developing and maintaining an efficient air traffic control system at the European level.

In addition to supporting Member States and stakeholders (including air navigation service providers, civil and military airspace users, airports, and aircraft and equipment manufacturers) in actions aimed at making aviation in Europe safer and more efficient, EUROCONTROL also supports a range of initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impacts.

It is therefore a great pleasure for ARIANET to participate in the first Environmental Impact Assessment Forum currently taking place in Paris, presenting the results of the recently completed CREATE research project.

Cristina Pozzi will present the results of the CREATE research project with the talk “Multiscale air quality impact of airport and en route aviation emissions,” which will describe innovative procedures in the field of ATM (Air Transport Management) for reducing the impact on climate and environment, while also becoming more resilient to meteorological phenomena.
