Published in “Science of The Total Environment” (Elsevier), the article “Long-term residential exposure to air pollution and risk of chronic respiratory diseases in Italy: The BIGEPI study” presents the findings of a cross-sectional study conducted on the adult population in 8 Italian cities. The study aimed to establish the relationship between residential exposure to air pollutants (with concentration fields provided by ARIANET) and the risk of developing chronic respiratory diseases in certain Italian cities.
